Kanshi Ram was a Dalit leader, social reformer, and founder of several political and social organizations aimed at uplifting the Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes, and Other Backward Classes (OBCs). His ideology was deeply inspired by Dr. B.R. Ambedkar and focused on annihilating caste and ensuring representation for oppressed communities.

The Bhim Army Bharat Ekta Mission (lit. Ambedkar Army Indian Unity Mission) is a grassroots organization committed to fighting against caste discrimination and empowering marginalized communities in India. Founded in 2015 by Chandrashekhar Azad, and Vinay Ratan Singh, Bhim Army runs over 350 free schools for Dalits and Muslims in Uttar Pradesh, promoting education as a tool for social upliftment.

Chandrashekhar Azad is the primary founder and leader of Bhim Army and Member of Parliament - NAGINA (UTTAR PRADESH). He is a fierce Dalit rights activist who has led numerous protests and movements against caste discrimination and oppression.

  • Ambedkarite Ideology: Azad is a staunch follower of Dr. B.R. Ambedkar's principles of equality, justice, and liberty.
  • Anti-Manuvāda & Anti-Caste: He strongly opposes Manuvādi ideologies and promotes constitutional rights for Dalits and minorities.
  • Political Stance: He views the BJP and other right-wing groups as opponents of Bahujan rights and fights against their policies.
  • Champion of Bahujan Identity: Promotes Bahujan unity by bringing together SC, ST, OBC, and minority groups.

Vinay Ratan Singh

Vinay Ratan Singh is the co-founder and President of Bhim Army. He works alongside Chandrashekhar Azad to expand the organization's reach and influence.
